checking into vancouver general with a bad case of gurney strapdown disorder
for my first stand up gig, i chose to build my set around my experience of trying to get admitted to the psych ward – and ending up on a gurney ride into dante’s inferno.
“anyway, it all started when I moved to a new apartment right on top of nanaimo skytrain station. They say the best thing about living near the skytrain that it’ll take you anywhere in town.”

my second ever outing as a standup comedian: escaping from the psych ward on a space gurney, spreading puns to the waiting ears of lonely martians, uranusians and neptunians.
